Smartphones main Terminologies

Present day in the world of mobile/cell phone all leading brands like htc,  Nokia, Samsung, sony ericsson and other release their handsets with some advance features and good looks which can easily attract any user . Now i am going to introduce all terminologies related to a smartphone.
Camera:-Camera is a feature which can take still photographs and videos. Camera allows the user to focus any object and capture it. In a smartphone there are generally 2 cameras. Main camera is use to capture photo and video. Secondary camera allows the user to enjoy 3G services like video calling and video conferencing.
Mega Pixel Camera:-Mega pixel means 1 million pixels. Pixel implies a single dot in a photograph. Mega pixel increases the quality of a photograph.

Touch screen:-Touch screen became very popular in smartphone. It is easy to use. We can control or use the phone just by touching its screen. There is mainly two types of touch screen predominantly used in phones. One of them is Capacitive and another is resistive touch screen. Both work on different mechanism.
The resistive touch screen made up of several layers, the topmost of which flexes under your finger and is pushed back onto a layer behind it. This effectively completes a circuit, telling the phone which part of the screen is being pressed.
On the other hand capacitive touch screens don’t require pressure, but rather they use electrodes to sense the conductive properties of objects, such as your finger. So, they don’t rely on having an object pressing particularly hard on their surface, but will only react to certain objects. Prod one with a standard stylus and you’ll get nowhere. Capacitive touch screen fond in high end phones

Processor:-Processor is the heart of any mobile phone. It deals with mobile phones processing speed. Generally processors speed of working is measured in term of MIPS (Millions Instruction Per Second).
Smartphone manufacturers these days boast of their phones’ computer-like capabilities, for desktop-like internet browsing, HD video playback and HD games.  They toss around spec sheets filled with processor names like Intel Atom, Exynos 4 quad ARM11, Cortex A8, Snapdragon, Tegra, OMAP , Armada, and more.
